The Brazos County Collection Department is attempting to limit contact and are encouraging the public to stay home if needed.

The Collections Department say they "would like to help you take care of your monthly payments if you are already on a payment plan for any of the following courts: 85th, 272nd, 361s, CCL1, CCL2, Justice of the Peace Precinct 1, Justice of the Peace Precinct 2, Justice of the Peace Precinct 3, and Justice of the Peace Precinct 4."

The notice says:

If you do not want to come into the Courthouse to make your payment, payments can be made via the Brazos County Website, phone, mail, or drop box.

Online Payments can be made with a credit/debit card via the Brazos County Website at www.brazoscountytx.gov.

From the Brazos County Website, go to Governments, then Collections, then Online Payments.

If you are paying for a Justice of the Peace case, select the appropriate precinct in the red box that says “***ATTENTION***”.

If you are paying for a County/District Court case, scroll down to the bottom and select “accept”.

Payments can be made via phone with a credit/debit card using the phone numbers listed below. If you are making a credit card payment via phone, please pay close attention to your case number and call the correct payment number.

The Brazos County Collection Department also has a drop box located in the red bricks to the right of the mailboxes in the front of the Courthouse. You may drop a cashier’s check or money order in this box. If you drop a payment in the box, make sure it is in a sealed envelope with your name, date of birth, case number, and phone number on the envelope.

You can also mail in either a cashier’s check or money order. If you mail in a cashier’s check or money order, be sure your name and case number are on the cashier’s check or money order.
