COLLEGE STATION, TX — Texas A&M University has suspended classes for two days due to coronavirus concerns.

The university announced classes will resume on March 18 to allow for "planning and logistics to ensure the provision of all university services in the most efficient, effective and safest way."

The university said dining, transportation, health, counseling and other services will be available on a normal schedule on March 16 and March 17.

Texas A&M said it is not requiring courses be moved to an online format at this time. The university said it will continue to keep faculty, staff and students updated.

On Monday, Texas A&M canceled all university-sponsored travel outside the U.S. through May 1.
