COLLEGE STATION, TX — Texas A&M University said it is investigating several racist or offensive social media posts made by current or incoming students.
The university said it has been aware of social media posts shared online of racist or offensive statements attributed to current or incoming students.
Over the past week, we have been made aware of social media posts shared online of racist or offensive statements attributed to current or incoming Texas A&M students. We have brought all of these posts to the attention of Texas A&M officials.

The university said it has brought all of the posts to the attention of Texas A&M officials.
The posts are being investigated. Texas A&M said it is gathering information and determining the next course of action.
The Texas A&M System condemned racist behaviors, actions and comments in a statement from the system's Council on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
