Sully statue defaced on Texas A&M campus Wednesday morning

COLLEGE STATION, TX — A well-known statue on the Texas A&M campus was seen defaced with graffiti and a wig Early Wednesday morning.

“BLM”, “ACAB” and “racist” were spray-painted at the base of the statue of Lawrence Sullivan “Sul” Ross sometime overnight.

The statue was also seen wearing a rainbow-colored wig and was later covered in a tarp
