Argument leads to shooting in Bryan, one man in hospital

BRYAN, TX — Bryan police have arrested a man after a shooting left one man in the hospital.

A warrant was obtained on Arnoldo Romero, age 21 of Bryan, for aggravated assault with deadly weapon and felon in possession of firearm, according to Bryan PD.

He was arrested in Anderson County.

Bryan police say they responded to a shooting in the 1400 block of S Texas Avenue on Saturday just before noon.

An ongoing dispute between two males escalated to gunfire, according to police.

One male shot the other and fled in a vehicle.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is currently being treated.

Police say the victim has serious injuries.
