BRAZOS COUNTY, TX — The Brazos County Health District is warning the community after seeing social media reports of people going door-to-door falsely claiming to test for COVID-19.
The health district said whether or not these reports are true, the public should be vigilant to these types of scams.
The Brazos County Health District is not offering testing at the main location or out in the public. Testing is currently offered at healthcare provider's office, an ER or an urgent care center.
The health district says if anyone comes to your front door claiming to be testing for COVID-19, turn them away and call authorities.
