Bryan Texas Utilities has announced Lake Bryan will reopen to the public.
Lake Bryan will reopen on Friday, May 1, 2020.
According to BTU, Lake Bryan will be following guidelines issued for Texas State Parks for the safety of both the staff and patrons.
The lake will be open for day use only, and no overnight camping, pavilion, or event rentals will be allowed.
BTU says paddleboard and kayak rentals through Paddle EZ will still be allowed as long as groups follow these restrictions.
Patrons must wear face coverings at all times, and must maintain a six-foot social distance from people not in your group.
Groups of more than five people will not allowed.
Additionally, all annual passes will be extended by five weeks due to the closure.
