Inmate discovered missing from Bryan federal prison camp

BRYAN, TX — An inmate has been discovered missing from the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan.

On Friday, June, 26, 2020, at approximately 6:30 a.m., inmate Jennifer Martinez was discovered missing from the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Bryan in Bryan, Texas, according to officials.

Martinez is a 23-year-old female with black hair, brown eyes, 5’6” tall and weighs approximately 232 pounds.

She was sentenced in the Southern District of Texas to 84 months for Conspiracy to Import 50 Grams or More of Methamphetamine.

The United States Marshals Service, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and other law enforcement agencies were notified.

Officials say an internal investigation was initiated.

FPC Bryan is a minimum security facility that currently houses 638 female offenders.
