College Station police have arrested a man for manslaughter after investigating a crash involving a pedestrian and a truck.

20-year-old Bryan resident Colten Dean Mushinski was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Manslaughter.

The victim was identified as 19-year-old Bryan resident Seana Reagan Michaela Mitchell.

On Friday, May 29, 2020 at about 2:09 a.m. emergency personnel responded to the 2300 block of Trace Meadows Drive to investigate a crash involving a pedestrian and a truck.

The truck’s driver called 911 and said his girlfriend (the pedestrian) had been hanging onto his vehicle when he began driving, and that she had been “run over”.

Officers arrived on scene and found a critically injured pedestrian in the roadway, in the 2300 block of Trace Meadows.

The woman was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries at about 3:14 a.m.

Following on-scene investigation, the truck’s driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
Because the truck’s driver was also found to have driven his truck in close proximity to the pedestrian in a manner that led to him striking her or driving over her, causing her death, he was additionally charged with Manslaughter.

The pedestrian’s next of kin have been notified.
