The history behind Bryan-College Station is set to be featured on national television.

C-SPAN City Tours travels the country to feature the literary life and history of American cities.

Some of the spots the tour is highlighting includes the Bush Library and Museum, Kyle Field and the Corps of Cadets.

"It's two cities, one community. I think that's very important for people to know we work together. There's a lot of history in Bryan. We have downtown Bryan. We have the bio-corridor, so we've got a lot of really great things. We've got Texas A&M. I mean, it's a great community, so it's an honor," said Buppy Simink, Bryan Mayor Pro Term.

Some of the other cities highlighted by C-SPAN in Texas include Amarillo, Beaumont, Corpus Christi, Fort Worth, Lubbock and Waco.
