AMBER Alert canceled after missing 16-year-old found safe in Somerville

ROYSE CITY, TX — A missing Royse City girl has been found safe in Somerville, Texas after an AMBER alert was issued in her disappearance earlier today.

The Royse City Police Department updated at 8:25 A.M. that the missing juvenile has been located.

She was found unharmed in Somerville, TX.

She is now in the custody of her father, according to police.

An Amber Alert that had been issued is being cancelled.

The Royse City Police Department was searching for a missing, possibly endangered 16-year-old female juvenile named Kylee Ann White.

Kylee was reported missing by her family as a runaway the morning of Saturday, June 13, 2020.

Later in the day, the family was contacted by an unknown subject who claimed to be holding Kylee against her will.

At this time, law enforcement has not been able to confirm this information but was treating the case as a possible abduction.

The Royse City Police Department was being assisted in the investigation by the Texas Rangers and the FBI.

Kylee Ann White was described as w/f, 5’8, thin build, long dark blonde hair, hazel eyes, and she has pink braces on her teeth.
