KILLEEN, TEXAS — Two were arrested Sunday morning after a traffic stop led to the discovery of drugs, stolen guns and property.

Killeen police said that the traffic stopped happened on Feb. 24 just after 1 a.m. in the 3400 block of E. Central Texas Expressway. Police said a blue Scion was seen weaving in and out of traffic.

When officers attempted to stop the car, the driver slowed the vehicle and jumped out, fleeing the scene on foot.

The passenger stayed inside the car.

In the car, police found a controlled substance, stolen handguns, marijuana and stolen property.

Both suspects were taken to the Killeen City Jail.
