TEMPLE, TX — The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System honored our nations' veterans with a Veterans Day program Friday morning.
The ceremony celebrated the men and women who have served in the American military.
Dozens of people showed up to show their appreciation for our local veterans.
Lolita Gilmore, Retired Master Sergeant with the U.S. Army, shared her story of founding Teach Them To Love Outreach Ministries and encouraged veterans to continue to serve.
Friends and family gathered to honor all who have served, including veterans whose names were engraved on the memorial at the Temple VA this year.
During the ceremony, Temple Mayor Tim Davis also presented a proclamation in honor of Veterans Day.
