Temple police are still searching for a man who escaped after his arrest Wednesday night near Baylor Scott & White Hospital.
Police said 35-year-old Thomas Clay Finto was arrested on a theft warrant. He is described to be wearing a black shirt, black shorts, and white shoes.
"The subject may still be wearing handcuffs," said Temple police Wednesday night.
Officers set up a parameter Wednesday night but called off the search after they were unable to locate the man, according to a Temple police spokesperson.
