Sheriff's department asking for public's help locating suspect

KILLEEN, TX — The Bell County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help locating a suspect.

The department said on May 15, they took a report on a two-party check which was mailed to the victim, but was never received. It was cashed at a Go-N-Cash check cashing location at 1407 S Ft. Hood Street in Killeen, without the victim's consent.

The suspect used a fake driver's license with the victim's name and address as identification and signed the check.

The fake DL that was used was a paper/ temporary license. The photos of the suspect were taken from the Go-N-Cash security cameras.

The photos caught the suspect and the suspect's vehicle taken between 1:03 - 1:10 p.m. on May 14.
