TEMPLE, TX — The Temple Police Department is investigating after an unknown person fired a single shot near Temple High School Tuesday morning then took off.
Around 10:05 a.m., officers responded to several reports of a single shot fired at West Barton Avenue and North 31st Street.
Officers were told that an unknown suspect fired a single shot and fled in what was possibly a red Jeep.
Temple High School was placed under a lockout for 10 minutes.
At this time, no victim has come forward and no suspects have been identified.
