KILLEEN, TX — One teen has been arrested and another is wanted in connection to a Killeen shooting that left a bystander injured.

Around 12:38 a.m. on Sunday, December 6, officers were dispatched to Mickey's Convenience Store, located in the 2100 block of South WS Young Drive, regarding a shooting and a female victim.

When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound by unknown persons.

Police say the victim arrived to the business and parked. A man exited a red Chevrolet car parked near the victim. Two other men then exited a gray four-door hatchback that was parked several spots away on the other side of the victim's vehicle.

The two men from the hatchback started shooting at the man from the red Chevrolet, with the victim caught in the crossfire.

Both the gray vehicle and the red vehicle fled the scene.

The woman was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Through an investigation, detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division were able to identify the men from the hatchback.

On Wednesday, December 23, detectives obtained arrest warrants for 18-year-old Zaveon Hakhem Cummings of Killeen and 19-year-old Emilio Terrazas of Killeen for aggravated assault.

On Wednesday, December 30, Cummings was located and arrested by members of the US Marshals Service - Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force in the 1800 block of Live Oak Train in Tomball, Texas.

In addition to the aggravated assault warrant, authorities say Terrazas is a person of interest in connection to the drive-by shooting on Alma Drive that happened on December 27.

Terrazas is described as 6 feet tall, 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Authorities say he is armed and dangerous.

Detectives are asking anyone who may know the whereabouts of Emilio Terrazas to contact Crime Stoppers at 254-526-TIPS (8477) or go online. You can also download the P3Tips App for IOS or Android and give an anonymous tip.

All information is confidential and anonymous and if your tip leads to the arrest of Terrazas, you could be eligible to receive a reward up to $1,000 in cash.
