Man on Most Wanted List captured after chatting with constable on Facebook

A man on Bell County's Most Wanted List has been captured after he chatted with a Bell County constable on Facebook.

On July 15, Thomas Prado, Bell County Constable for Precinct 3 posted a photo of D'Andre Antonio Green, who was wanted by Bell County for assault on a family/household member. Constable Prado's post said in part "Mr. Green just call my office we will be glad to give you a free Uber ride to your local Bell County Bed And Breakfast...."

That day, Green, who goes by Dre Green on Facebook, commented multiple times on the constable's post. In one of his responses, Green said "Im on an island sippin mojitos... Ill call when i make it back to town... Enjoy yalls summer," to which Constable Prado with "I won’t trust me. I can sleep at night not worried if the big bad wolf will come get me late at night."

Green's comments also included the kissing-face emoji and a GIF of Gingy from the movie Shrek the Third running.

Two days after the initial post, Constable Prado made another post announcing Green's arrest. According to Constable Prado, Green was arrested by the Midland County Sheriff's Department in Midland with the help of the the Bell County Constables Office Precinct 3.

Constable Prado assisted Midland County Sheriff's Department deputies with the arrest. According to the constable, the arrest "went peaceful with no problems."

As of July 17, the initial post has received 1,500 comments and been shared 1,200 times.
