KILLEEN, TX — The longest-serving Killeen Independent School District employee is back on the football field after a 13-month retirement.

Al “Doc” Wilson served as the first and only head trainer at Killeen High School for 57 years.

After a 13-month retirement, Wilson is back on the field at Shoemaker High School as a temporary athletic trainer.

Doc is working in the same school district as his oldest son, Andy Wilson, who is the head athletic trainer at Harker Heights High School.
