KILLEEN, TX — Killeen Police are investigating after a shooting left one man dead Monday night.
The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Ricky Darnell Ball.
Killeen police officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Kerrville Court on Monday, June 1, at approximately 9:05 p.m. in reference to a 911 call about shots fired.
Upon the officers arrival they located a man lying on the ground in front of a residence with a gunshot wound and not breathing.
Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke pronounced the male deceased at 9:49pm at the scene.
Detectives with the Homicide Unit are actively investigating the incident.
