Killeen Mall reopens following social media threats

KILLEEN, TX — (UPDATE) The Killeen Mall has reopened following social media threats.


The Killeen Mall announced on their Facebook page that they will be closed on June 2, 2020, after a reported raid of the mall.

The Killeen Police Department posted on their Facebook page that there had been a social media threat about a potential raid.

Out of concern for the customers and employees, the Killeen Mall closed at 11 a.m. on June 2.

If you observe any suspicious activity, the public is advised to call 911.
