TEMPLE, TX — Improper electrical wiring led to a fire at the Sol De Jalisco restaurant Monday.

According to Temple Fire & Rescue, around 12:15 p.m., firefighters responded to a reported structure fire at Sol De Jalisco #3, located at 8774 West Adams Avenue.

Firefighters arrived to find light smoke coming from the roof line of the restaurant. Temple Fire says the fire was located in the front wall of the building next to the business sign.

Firefighters were able to quickly extinquish the blaze.

Temple Fire says fire damage was confined to the front wall, and light water damage occured inside the restaurant.

All occupants were out of the restaurant when firefighters arrived. Temple Fire says no injuries were reporte.

Temple Fire Department Investigators determined the fire was caused by improper electrical wiring. Temple Fire says the total estimated loss is $3,500.
