Lacy Lakeview firefighters have cleared the area after responding to an active brush fire on Gholson Road.
Firefighters asked the public to stay away from the area to allow them to work.
"Homes in the area may experience a loss in electricity," said the Lacy Lakeview Police Department.
The fire department was able to quickly contain the fire Thursday afternoon.
