TEMPLE, TX — Officials are reminding people to slow down on wet roads, after severe weather affected some parts of the area.
Temple Fire & Rescue said that Engine 8 responded to a single vehicle crash on North Point Road just after 6 a.m. Wednesday.
An older model Chevy Blazer struck a tree, which sheared off the fiberglass roof.
Officials said that the Blazer traveled a short distance and then stopped in a drainage ditch, hitting another tree.
Three were in the vehicle at the time of the accident. One was transported to Baylor Scott and White for evaluation.
