BELTON, TX — The family of a man who was found shot and burned in a pit is raising money for a monument in honor of their lost loved one.
Michael VanLandingham's body was found near the FM 1670 in Belton in September 2018.
Dana Francis Walcott and Owen Free III are facing charges in connection to the shooting death.
His family is now raising money to build a monument for him.
The family has started a GoFundMe with a $4,000 goal.
