KILLEEN, TX — The Killeen Police Department is asking for the public's help after a couple was assaulted and children were taken by their mother from the back parking lot of the Pluckers Wing Bar in Killeen.
Killeen PD says officers were dispatched to the Pluckers Restaurant around 7:56 p.m. on June 5 for an aggravated assault that occurred in the back parking lot.
The victims reported that a gray van pulled up to them and four women exited the van. One of the women was later identified to be the ex-girlfriend and mother to three of the children of the male victim.
As the women exited, they displayed a firearm along with a bat and physically took the children, placing them in the van while pointing the gun at a female victim.
The women fled the scene once they had the children.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division, Violent Crimes Unit, are asking for anyone who may have been there that evening and witnessed this incident or may have recorded the incident with their cell phone, to please contact detectives at 254-501-8830.
