COPPERAS COVE, TX — Two Copperas Cove police officers went above and beyond for a member of their community.
While conducting a foot patrol a while ago, Officer Orr and Officer Nunez ran into Ray. Ray was talking to the officers and said he wished he had a grill, so he could cook for the neighborhood.
Well, Officer Orr and Officer Nunez became Santa for a day and granted him his wish.
They found a grill, cleaned it up, painted it, and gave it to Ray on Christmas Eve.
"Ray is a veteran, a husband, a father of four and a member of our community. We love opportunities to give back to our community and to show them our appreciation," the department said.
