City of Harker Heights accepting donations for KISD Homeless Awareness Response Program

HARKER HEIGHTS, TX — The City of Harker Heights is collecting supplies that will benefit the Killeen Independent School District H.A.R.P. (Homeless Awareness Response Program).

There will be donation boxes at several locations from now until March 2.

School supplies needed include erasers, highlighters, dry erase markers, black or blue ink pens.

Personal hygiene items needed include toothbrushes (individually packaged), toothpaste (regular or travel sized), shampoo or hair conditioner (regular or travel sized), deodorant (regular or travel sized).

The donation boxes will be at the following locations:

  • Harker Heights Activities Center on 400 Indian Trail
  • Harker Heights City Hall at 305 Miller’s Crossing
  • Harker Heights Recreation Center on 307 Miller’s Crossing
