BELL COUNTY — UPDATE:
Bell County Commissioners voted to lift the burn ban on Sept. 14.

Bell County Judge Blackburn has issued a burn ban for the county that goes into effect Friday, July 10, 2020, at 8:00 PM.
The Bell County Commissioners Court issued an order extending the burn ban through September 8, 2020.
The ban includes that all outdoor burning is banned in the unincorporated area of Bell County.
Violation of this order could result in a Class C misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $500.
The order does not prohibit outdoor burning activities related to public health and safety that are authorized by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
