TEMPLE, TX — A woman killed after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday was identified.
Yuricel Penaloza, 29, was struck by a vehicle Sunday night. She was from Temple.
The incident occurred at 9:52 p.m. near exit 289 on southbound I-35.
The woman was struck by a gold 2004 Honda Accord. The southbound lanes were closed for about four hours.
