COLLEGE STATION, TX — Texas A&M University is urging those on-campus to conserve water.

In a Code Maroon Alert, the university said it is experiencing power outages at its water wells as well as widespread water leaks in campus buildings. This has caused the campus water supplies to near critically low levels.

Officials are asking Aggies to postpone any unnecessary use of water, such as laundry and showers.
