Texas A&M University Police are investigating a sexual assault at the George Hotel.
On November 14, 2020, the Texas A&M University Police Department (UPD) was contacted regarding a sexual assault.
The victim reported that on November 12, 2020 at approximately 10:30 pm the victim and her friend met a group of males at Northgate.
On November 13, 2020 at approximately 2:25 am, the victim and her friend walked with the males to the George Hotel where the males were staying.
The victim entered the suspect's hotel room and does not remember anything after entering the room, according to police. The victim woke up to injuries indicating sexual assault.
UPD has identified the suspect and believes he is from out of state.
The victim has chosen to participate in the pseudonym program and no further information will be released at this time.
This case has been turned over the Criminal Investigation Division.

On Wednesday, University Police were searching for a suspect in a sexual assault near Nuclear Science Rd and Rangeland Science. That suspect was arrested.
