COLLEGE STATION, TX — The heroic actions of Texas A&M Task Force 1 are now available for all to stream.

"Texas Storm Squad" is a 45-minute documentary that is now available on Disney+.

In it, video crews follow Danny Watkins, a rescue specialist, and his team as they and five other Texas Task Force 1 teams are dispatched to Beaumont, Texas, and surrounding areas during Tropical Storm Imelda in September 2019.

The teams evacuated residents and saved lives from flash floods that came due to the storm.

The National Weather Service recorded "devastating flooding" along the I-10 corridor from Winnie eastward to Fannett, Beaumont, Vidor and Orange, Texas. The NWS states an accumulated 30 to 44 inches of rain fell during the storm, with 44.29 inches falling two miles south-southwest of Fannett.

According to the NWS, Tropical Storm Imelda is considered the 7th wettest tropical cyclone to impact the United States, 5th wettest in the contiguous United States, and the 4th wettest in the state of Texas.
