COLLEGE STATION, TX — More than five years ago the "Step In. Stand Up." campaign was created at Texas A&M University to bring awareness and encourage Aggies to step in as active bystanders to prevent sexual harassment and sexual violence and stand up to support survivors.
The Step In. Stand Up. program includes training and resources along with statements of support that were submitted by the University President, Student Body President, Staff Council and many others.
Advocates want to remind students and the community of the resources available to them after a sexual assault was reported on campus on September 2, 2020.
TAMU Police have sent out an alert as they continue to search for the suspect.
