BRYAN, TX — One person is dead after a shooting in Bryan Saturday night.

The deceased was identified as Latravion Thomas, a 20-year-old, of Bryan.

Bryan Police officers responded to the 4300 block of College Main Street on Aug. 22 around 11 PM for a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, officers located a person with an apparent gunshot wound.

Officers provided aide until the person was transported to the hospital but the person died at the hospital from their injuries.

During the investigation, another person was located who had also been shot, according to Bryan Police.

The second person had non-life threatening injuries.

Neighbors inside the complex claimed they heard people arguing prior to the shots being fired. One neighbor also says that this is not the first time there was a shooting at the college main apartment complex.

"So it was probably about like 9:30 or 10ish I was in my room and I heard this pop like 6 to 9 times," said Masa Kuniyoshi, a resident at College Main apartment complex.

"I'm very concerned actually this is not the first time I've been here for two years and this is the second time so I was a little concerned about that last night."

The investigation is ongoing.

"It does not appear to be a random shooting," said Bryan Police Officer Kole Taylor.
