MILAM COUNTY, TX — On March 1, Milam County Chief Deputy, Mike Clore, confirmed that Sheriff Chris White resigned effective Monday for personal reasons.
Clore will assume the sheriff position and tells 25 News he will likely be confirmed Monday for it. After which, they will hold a special election in November to determine who will be on the ballot for the mid-terms in 2022.
