MADISON COUNTY, TX — Madison County law enforcement is searching for a man who ran from police during a traffic stop.
The Madison County Sheriff's Office says 33-year-old Anthony Peter Turner fled from a traffic stop near the 138 mile marker along Interstate 45 in Madison County, just north of Spur 67 and south of Shrimpy's.
Turner is identified as a six feet two inches tall, 222 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
Authorities say he was unarmed, wearing white pants and a green shirt. He may be missing a shoe, and had no jacket.
An arrest warrant pending. Officials advise that anyone who sees Turner to not approach him, but immediately call 911.
