Bryan Police arrest 18-year-old for driving while intoxicated collision

BRYAN, TX — On January 19, 2021, at approximately 12:25 am, the Bryan Police Department responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident in the area of W. William J Bryan and N. Sims.

A red Ford F150 left the roadway and struck multiple utility poles, causing roadway obstruction and downed lines. After investigation, the 18-year-old male driver was taken into custody and charged with DWI. There were no injuries.

W. William J Bryan remains closed and traffic is being re-routed by TxDOT at the scene while the poles and downed lines are cleared from the roadway. Westbound traffic is being re-routed at N. Parker and eastbound traffic is being re-routed at N. Sims.
