BRAZOS COUNTY — After 37 years of service to the Bryan area, Bryan Fire Department Chief Randy McGregor announced plans to retire.
The Bryan Fire Department made the announcement on its Facebook page Monday evening.
Chief McGregor has been with the Bryan Fire Department since 1983 and has served as Chief since 2012.
As Chief, the department has grown significantly and several accomplishments were made including the City Council's goal of adding 4 firefighters on each engine and ladder company, EMS accreditation and a new Fire Station.
Chief McGregor plans to retire in late January 2021.
