TEMPLE, TX — Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple has received it shipment of COVID-19 vaccines and will begin to vaccinate their healthcare workers, according to their marketing relations director,
As previously reported, the group expected to receive 3,900 doses in the first week's allocation. The minimum order for the Pfizer vaccine is 975 doses.
"The panel put a priority on health care workers to protect those caring for COVID-19 patients and preserve the health care system’s ability to function," DSHS said earlier.
No reports on how many healthcare workers were vaccinated Tuesday have been released.
