COLLEGE STATION, TX — An adult has been arrested for felony endangering a child after they were found intoxicated and unconscious inside a car along with a child.
The College Station Police Department says around 9 a.m. on February 12, an officer responded to a parking lot in the 2300 block of Texas Avenue for report of an unconscious person in a vehicle.
The person was found to be intoxicated and in need of medical assistance. They were transported by ambulance to a hospital.
A child was also found in the vehicle and was otherwise unattended. A family member of the child responded and took custody of them.
Following an investigation, a warrant was issued for the adult for felony endangering a child.
The warrant was served on August 18 by another agency in Coryell County.
CSPD says no further details can be released at this time.
