BRAZOS VALLEY, TX — 25 News KRHD is expanding their commitment to covering the Brazos Valley by adding a 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. newscast beginning on January 11th.

KRHD News will begin with a weekly 5 a.m. to 7 a.m., and continue with an 11:30 a.m., 5 p.m., an hour-long newscast at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. show.

KRHD’s office is in Bryan and houses a team of reporters who will tell the stories the community can relate to by covering news that impacts Brazos Valley residents. New technology installed in the studio helps enhance the way stories are told and creates more informative weather forecasts for viewers.

“While launching a new station during a pandemic had its challenges, our commitment to quality journalism in the Brazos Valley remains steadfast during a challenging time for all of us” says 25 News VP & General manager Adam Chase. “I am very proud of our KRHD team and I look forward to watching them grow as community leaders and providing the viewers we serve a new option for local news.”

25 News KRHD can be found on TV (Antenna, Suddenlink, and DIRECTV), KRHDnews.com, on Facebook (@25newskrhd), and within the KXXV/KRHD Roku channel and mobile app. KRHD is joining Dish Network in early 2021.
