Three people were taken to the hospital after an accident in Temple Saturday afternoon.
Temple police said the accident happened before 2 p.m. on Avenue D and 31st Street.
Police said that a black car was traveling east on Avenue D when it failed to yield the right of way to a silver car traveling on S. 31st, causing an accident.
The passenger of the silver car had to be to be extricated from the car.
The passenger and driver of the silver car, as well as the driver from the black car, were taken to the hospital.
