This summer, Killeen police will be giving out "justice tickets" to reward kids participating in positive activity in the community with a free Slurpee couple from 7-Eleven.

7-Eleven will distribute more than 1.4 million Slurpee coupons to over 1,000 law enforcement agencies this year. Killeen was given more than 1,100 of them.

Police said they will be looking for kids who might be helping another person, deterring crime, or other positive activity in the community.

"We are always looking for ways to help our officers build strong relationships in the community," said Chief Charles Kimble. "Operation Chill makes it easy to interact with kids in a positive way."

Each coupon can be redeemed for a small Slurpee at participating 7-Eleven stores.
