A second person has died over a week after a single-vehicle accident killed 19-year-old Anna Wegner, of Bullard, Texas and injured several overs, according to DPS.
DPS said 19-year-old Robert Rogers, of Austin, has been pronounced dead.
On May 12 around 1:40 p.m., a Toyota 4runner was traveling northbound on Interstate 35 when its tire blew out, just south of West.
The driver lost control of the vehicle and overturned multiple times ejecting three passengers.
Wegner, one of the passengers, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and three passengers were transported to a local hospital, one in critical condition.
During the investigation, it was determined three passengers were unrestrained.
No charges have been filed as a result of this investigation.
