WACO — Making It Happen Waco organization is providing free prom dresses, boutonnieres, shoes and other services for teenage girls and boys to go to prom on a more affordable budget.
Prom dresses can cost more than $100 and some don't have the budget for the high costs.
"Not everybody is able to go to prom and I know how expensive it can be," Tonia Stonum said, the founder of Making It Happen. "Even if you buy a dress for $300, it's going to sit in your closet where you can come get a dress for free."
This is the second year Making It Happen has provided this for the Central Texas Community.
"It's a blessing for us to be able to help someone," Stonum said.
