TEMPLE, TX — Temple police arrested a man accused of robbing a bank on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said 49-year-old Ronnie Tanner was arrested for the robbery the Wells Fargo on S. 31st Street.
According to the federal complaint, Tanner, of San Diego, California, stole about $4,000 from the bank.
He was arrested on Feb. 21 at the Red Roof Inn in Temple and placed in federal custody.
A hearing for Tanner has been scheduled for March 4 in Waco. He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
