A new type of spider found in southwestern Africa is the stuff of nightmares.
In a study, scientists found the unique spider in Angola.
Researchers said that the Certogyrus attonitifer is a part of a tarantula group called "horned baboon spiders."
The horn on the tarantula is unique because of how soft and long it is in comparison to other tarantulas in the group.
Researchers said that the spider prey mainly on insects and that the venom wouldn't be considered dangerous, though bites could create infections which could be fatal due to limited medical access.
