A teen was taken to an area hospital after police said he tried to cross a busy road and hit the side of a truck.
The accident happened on the 3900 block of Bellmead Drive just after 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
Bellmead police said the 14-year-old boy was attempting to cross traffic on foot, but ran into a truck traveling eastbound.
The teen was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries and is believed to be in stable condition.
