A 53-year-old Gatesville man was killed after an accidental crash on Sunday evening.
Gatesville police said a 17-year-old was driving northbound on Farm-to-Market 116 as John William Gregory was walking the same direction in the shoulder.
The teen's pickup veered into the shoulder and hit Gregory, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said a preliminary investigation shows the crash was an accident, but they will continue to investigate.
